Being Your Own Plumber
I do not have a lot of money. I moved to Chicago with only a few hundred dollars and I got a pretty crappy job I am barely making it. That’s why on my toilet clogged I felt like it was the end of the world. I have no idea how I was going to fix such a disgusting problem. I could not live in my house if my bathroom was flooded with sewage so I knew that I had to take action. I thought about seeing if any friends of friends were plumbers and would fix it for free but I didn’t really want take advantage of someone’s generosity like that. One night I was watching TV online and a thought occurred to me. What if I could watch tv online to solve my problems? That’s when it hit me there are plenty of tutorial videos online about how to do things like unclog a drain. I was so excited. I immediately started searching for DIY plumbing videos. A lot of the things were really disgusting and some of the more even sexual in nature but eventually I found the links that I wanted. Then I started to just watch tv online on my computer until I figured out exactly how I was supposed unclog my toilet. I was so relieved when clean water was finally filling the bowl. And I also felt really accomplished that I had fixed the problem myself. I was super proud of what I had done I was even able to tell my parents that I was making it on my own. They did not have any faith in me and said that I should not moved to Chicago. I proved them wrong. I knew that my habit of watching too much TV online would eventually come in handy. I do not know what people used to do when they cannot look up instructions on the Internet.
