BODHI Shoe Bag: The Shoe Lover’s Travel Companion | Shoe SmittenI will be traveling next month. Going to see my grandkids, and that makes a month seem like a long time. The flight will be long, too, just because of my impatience. But I now have a travel companion. His name is Kindle.

Kindle is a great companion. He is quiet, which is great because I’m not a big talker, and I hate meaningless noise. He is lightweight, which is good because I’m a believer in maintaining a healthy weight. He is always ready to travel with me, which is great because I never know when I might be up and going again. And best of all, he keeps me occupied so I don’t get bored while waiting around in the airport. Yes, Kindle is a great travel companion.

Kindle makes a great travel companion when there are kids on the trip also. He is able and willing to hold hundreds of the best kid’s books and have them available to read at a moment’s notice. And he is so agreeable and easy to get along with that the kids, or adults like myself, can take advantage of his good nature with ease.

If you don’t have a travel companion like Kindle, you need one. He’s great!

One of the most important things to remember if you want to have a higher chance of getting your book approved for publishing by Singapore book publishers is to get to know them well first. What this primarily means is that you need to be knowledgeable about their specific rules and regulations when it comes to getting a book published. Most first-time authors make the mistake of thinking that their own strategy will work to their advantage, but none of these will matter if it does not follow the requirements of the book publisher. One of the best ways to get this information is to visit the website of the publisher. You just don’t submit whatever you have to the publisher – you ask them first what is necessary to facilitate the publishing of your book. Most publishers usually require that you submit a few pages of your manuscript, while some will require that you send them the whole manuscript.
